A violent incident shook the educational community in the municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán, after a student attacked two teachers with a firearm inside a high school. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the 'Anton Makárenko' Preparatory School, located in the central area of the city. According to initial reports, the attack took place within the school premises, where the student opened fire on the teaching staff, prompting a rapid mobilization of security forces after reports of gunshots. Two teachers lost their lives. Upon arriving at the scene, elements of the Municipal Police and the Civil Guard confirmed the death of two women who worked as teachers at the school. So far, the official causes that led the student to carry out the attack have not been confirmed. Preliminarily, some versions suggest that there may have been a previous conflict within the school, however, this information will need to be confirmed by the authorities.
